The Department of Public Policy and Management is designed to prepare students for the challenges of leadership and management in national and local levels of government and the nonprofit sector including public enterprises. It provides future public leaders within the conceptual framework and practical skills necessary to succeed in public service. It is a multi-disciplinary program, combining rigorous training in analytical and quantitative methods within an emphasis on policy and practice. Students learn to marshal resources within and outside of an organization, monitor and fine tune innovative policy solutions, and provide the transformational leadership that generates success.
